("AFIPS") shall be and is hereby dissolved, such dissolution to become effective as soon as possible. — Minutes of the AFIPS Board of Directors Dissolution Meeting, October 13, 1990 AFIPS, the formerly wealthy parent of ACM, IEEE, and smaller societies, had fallen on hard times.
