Games are full of unusual interaction issues, never before solved. In this cover story, Sus Lundgren presents a set of methods for quick idea generation pertaining to any kinds of gaming problem solving - be it computer, card, theoretical, or physical. These methods can be adopted in a consultancy environment or in a classroom, and point towards the role of play in the generative design process.
Sus Lundgren is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in interaction design at Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden. She has a background in game design research, and has worked with Web design and GUI design for several years. She also owns over 400 games.
