Elaine Ann is the President/CEO of Kaizor Innovation, a strategic innovation consultancy that helps companies strategize, research, and design innovative products/services appropriate for the China market.
Born and raised in Hong Kong and having lived in the U.S. for 12 years, Elaine's bi-cultural and bilingual background help clients obtain unique insights and bridge behavioral, cultural, social and political differences between markets. Her clients include HP, P&G, BMW DesignWorksUSA, CNN, Sensormatic, Design Continnum, Ziba, Lunar Design, OSIM, Changhong etc.
Elaine graduated with Interaction Design (MDES) and Visual Communications (BFA) at Carnegie Mellon University and also worked at Fitch, Razorfish, Henry Dreyfuss and Philips Design while in the U.S.. She also recently finished her Executive MBA at the Cheung Kong Business School in Beijing. She teaches at the Hong Kong PolyU School of Design Masters of Interaction Program and is also on the school's Advisory Board. Elaine has published and spoken widely in US, Europe and China about User-Centered Innovation and China. At her leisure, she hikes and studies I Ching and Qi Gong.
