Gary Marsden, Forum, Developing Nations
Gary Marsden is an associate professor in the Computer Science Department at the University of Cape Town. He moved there in 1999 after completing his PhD in HCI. Since arriving in Cape Town, he has been working on how HCI can be used to improve technology deployment in the developing world. With Matt Jones he wrote a book entitled Mobile Interaction Design and he received the 2007 SIGCHI Social Impact award.
