ICMI is the premier international forum for multidisciplinary research on multimodal human-human and human-computer interaction, interfaces, and system development. The conference focuses on theoretical and empirical foundations, component technologies, and combined multimodal processing techniques that define the field of multimodal interaction analysis, interface design, and system development.
The conference wonders how multimodal processing of human behavioral data can create meaningful impact in art, culture, and society practices. And vice versa, how does art, culture, and society influence our approaches and techniques in multimodal processing? As such, this year ICMI welcomes contributions on our theme of "Multimodal Processing and Representation of Human Behavior in Art, Culture, and Society."

SAICSIT has supported local education, research, and development in computing and information technology for over 40 years. Its annual conference typically attracts academics and practitioners from southern Africa, along with a number of prominent international scholars.
With the theme "Interfacing with Digital Africa," the conference seeks to address how the work of computer science and information technology researchers interfaces with the unique opportunities and challenges on the continent. It also aims to spotlight the gaps and challenges for our research community's exploration of under-resourced settings and marginalized communities outside the defaults of "standard" computing and information technology environments.

The Art of Research conferences promote the continuous dialogue of research practices in art and design. The previous six conferences have contributed to the development of the rapidly growing and spreading discourse on artistic and practice-led research. Over two decades, the conferences have had a significant role in engaging in multiple notions of research where diverse modes of creative practice are used as catalysts for inquiry.
The theme of the conference, "Authorship and Responsibility," addresses the varied collaborative and individual working situations of researcher artists, designers, and architects. The theme connects to questions of singular authorship, shared authorship, lost authorship, invisible or uncredited authorship, participatory conditions, co-creation, inclusion, and exclusion.
