When you hear the name SIGCHI, what comes to mind first? For many, I expect it's the conferences and other events that SIGCHI volunteers curate and organize every year. When you attend one of these events, you probably—like me—are inspired and enthused by the passion, energy, and diversity of the people and ideas you encounter. But what happens to these energies between such intellectual gatherings?
